Some men sweat over pick up lines and conversation routines, when the REAL secret to minimizing the chance of getting rejected has more to do with flirting body language than the lines you use. Here’s a story to illustrate my point….

You know about dance parties right? There’s a huge crowd and everyone wants to own a piece of the dance floor. No one minds the body heat or the blasting music, everyone’s grind-dancing and having fun. You couldn’t move an inch without bumping into someone’s gyrating ass. In this scenario, it’s almost impossible to hear what your dancing partner is saying. If you happen to lose your friends in the crowd, prepare to make new ones because you won’t meet up with your pals until later that evening when most of the people have left.

Here’s what went down…

A friend of mine saw a girl dancing across the room and he can’t go to her fast enough. Or rather, he didn’t want to wade through the crowd to get to her. You know what he did? He caught her eye, smiled and made a funny face.

It’s a talent of his… but I guess ANY guy can wrinkle his forehead, cross his eyes and stick out his tongue, right? The fact that his “funny face” made him look like a different person made the girl laugh. She smiled back at him and they kept exchanging glances whenever their eyes met. After a few minutes of this, he motioned for her to follow him outside.

So, did he close? Oh yeah, he did! They set up a date immediately and even shared a quick kiss before they went back inside together.

Here’s the lesson….

A cold approach doesn’t have to result in a cold reception if you can make a girl like you even before you say anything. Wave, wink, wriggle your eyebrows, or simply … SMILE.

If you feel uncomfortable blurting out a line to a girl you just met, you can use body language as your “main opening line”, and use conversation to close the deal. Remember, the approach begins when you lock eyes with a woman. Flirting with her using actions will send her your romantic message clearly, even without words.

Don’t worry about pick up lines.

The classic ones like “hello” and “how are you doin?” work well if you smile broadly and act flirty. Your body language plays a big role in expressing your interest, making her notice you and keeping her interested.
