Choose Skills & Talents That Complement Your Personality In the game World of Warcraft, each character class has attributes that are very unique to their personality. Choosing to combine skills that are more suited to your character class will result in added efficiency and effectiveness. For example, if you choose the Warrior unit of the Human Race in World of Warcraft, (“WoW”), you are naturally very skilled in combat, and have high attributes in strength and dexterity. Investing time to teach your Warrior to repair or manufacture weapons and armour would be a good choice. This combination would add more value to your character as opposed to learning the skill of fishing, which is better suited for some other type of unit.
If you are a person who naturally possesses charm and charisma, talents such as gourmet cooking, appreciation of wine and spirits, and golf would gain much more value to your charming and charismatic base. Life is similar to WoW such that we live in a world full of different people of different races and social levels. There are many people at different points in their life, from the extremely shy and insecure to the incredibly successful and confident, and everything else in between.
Constantly Pick Battles That You Can Win It is safe to say that if you are a geek or nerd and not very confident in yourself, approaching someone who is very attractive, successful and assertive could be disastrous! Gamers will know very well what will happen if you are a level 5 Orc Rogue and you decide to challenge a level 40 Human Warrior to battle. There would be no competition and the act is literally suicide. In addition, when your character dies, you lose gold and suffer damages to your armour, weaponry, and experience. As is in real life, every time you get rejected or fail in a business deal, it doesn’t doesn’t come for free as it affects your self-confidence. In these cases, you are moving backwards, not forwards.
When you are levelling up and gaining experience in games such as WoW or Diablo, you are constantly picking battles that you can win. Eventually you will reach higher levels, which allow you to take on more difficult challenges. In real life it is the same-if you are persistent in always choosing battles you can easily win, you will gain more experience, feel more confident, and be able to summon up the courage to take on more difficult challenges. This is true when it comes to experience with women. You can’t expect to successfully score a date with an attractive woman if you are clueless about dating. You first need to gain experience with women who are around your current level. Eventually you will have a better chance with higher level and more attractive women. Women who are beautiful and attractive are more than likely to have a lot of dating experience, since they would be constantly surrounded by men. In order to easily defeat and out do those men, you have to be a higher level male in comparison.
Have Two Circles of Friends Gamers will understand that if you are a low level unit playing within a guild of higher level units, fighting battles together will gain you experience quicker. This concept is true in reality too.
Choose to associate with friends who are at a higher level than you. If you and some friends go to a nightclub and are successful in mingling with other women, by tagging along, observing, and being part of the interaction, you will gain experience and knowledge faster. Compare this with friends who stand on the side, sipping their beers, watching the action instead of being in it!
If you want to be successful, you should be hanging around people who are more successful than you.
In contrast, if you are a part of a group and are the highest level among the group, everybody will praise you and seek you to lead and make decisions. Members of the group can feel that you are the alpha male and will naturally let you hold the torch.
For example, the torch bearer in a group of friends is the one who always has the focus of attention within the group. During parties, road trips, discussions around a campfire, or regular outings, it would be easy to pick out the alpha male.
When you and your guild fight battles, as the highest level unit you feel very powerful and look great in front of your party. The same is true in real life. If you’re the life of the party and you make shit happen, it feels damn good and increases your level and experience. A great way to level up in games is knowing how to balance the two – hanging out with more powerful guilds to gain experience and jumping back to lower level guilds where you lead and enjoy the praise. The lesson here is to find more than one circle of friends.
The Four Characteristics of Human Behaviour I believe that every person can be rated and analyzed based upon four very distinct characteristics. These characteristics all play an important role in contributing to the level of an individual. Also important to note is that these characteristics are not weighed equally. The importance and value of these qualities are proportionate to the effort required to inherit them.
The four characteristics are listed below in order of least importance and value to most important and valuable. 1. Appearance 2. Body Mechanics 3. Speech Mechanics 4. Assertiveness
